My hair doesn’t curl. I have history of wasting time only for my curls to fall out a couple hours later. Before and after pics say it all! There's a bit of a learning curve, but after I got the hang of it, it's pretty easy. Doesn't tangle the hair, but I was careful to brush each section and pin back what wasn't being curled. When it did get tight at one point, the curler immediately reversed itself. I live in a high humidity climate, so we'll see how it holds up. But right now, I'm ecstatic!
