Soft Bristles & Great Design, But Doesn’t Work for My Hair Type

I'm always on the lookout for a good hairbrush. I have thick, straight, long hair and typically prefer paddle brushes. I was excited to try this “Hair Brush Detangler for Women – Boar Bristle Detangling Brush” by TYMO because it’s made from biodegradable balloon flower bioplastic—an eco-friendly option that uses less material thanks to its open, vented design.The brush is extremely lightweight and works well with a blow dryer. The free-floating tines provide a subtle, pleasant scalp massage, which I really appreciate, especially when brushing after a long day. The bristles are soft and flexible, making it a great option for those with sensitive scalps.Unfortunately, this brush didn’t perform well for my hair type. While it could glide through untangled sections, it really struggled with even small knots. It took extra effort to detangle areas that my usual brush handles with ease.On the other hand, my boyfriend—who has thinner hair—had a much easier time using the brush. He didn’t experience the same difficulty detangling and liked the feel on his scalp.As much as I wanted to love this brush for its sustainability and comfort, it’s just not strong enough for my thicker hair. However, it could be a great option for people with fine to medium hair or those seeking a gentle scalp massage.

As a part of the vibe program Amazon sent me this hair brush in exchange for an honest review.This brush is fantastic. The first thing I noticed is its larger size with bristles that feel amazing on my scalp. I didn’t know brushing my hair could feel so relaxing. With this brush it can.I have thicker hair and it brushed through it easily providing a smooth surface.I really like that it is open air and can easily be cleaned after use. The hair comes right out and it can be rinsed and dried for the next use.I highly recommend this brush
