HOW TO USE TYMO AIRLUX
Whether you're starting with damp or dry hair, create your desired look in just four easy steps.
Prep Your Hair
Start with towel-dried, damp hair or completely dry hair. Gently detangle your hair before styling.
Select Your Mode
Choose the right mode based on whether your hair is damp or dry.
Wet Hair Drying Mode
For damp hair, select your preferred airflow and heat setting:
- 90°F – Fast Airflow
- 150°F – Gentle Airflow
- 210°F – Fast Airflow
Dry Hair Heated Mode
For completely dry hair, choose the right temperature for your hair type:
- 320°F – Soft & Thin Hair
- 365°F – Normal or Slightly Curly Hair
- 410°F – Thick, Curly & Wavy Hair
Style Your Hair
Divide your hair into 1–1.5-inch sections. Then follow the guide below based on the style you want to create.
For Straight Styles
Place a section of hair over the heated barrel and glide the brush slowly and steadily from roots to ends in one smooth, continuous motion. For tightly coiled or highly textured hair, repeat 2–3 times as needed until the hair is fully straightened. You can also use different wrapping angles to smooth frizz on the inner or outer hair surface.
For Curls
Comb hair thoroughly and work with 1–1.5-inch sections. Wrap the hair around the thermal brush, rotate the brush, and hold for 2–3 seconds. Then slowly glide downward to release the curl. Repeat until you achieve your desired curls. For longer-lasting curls, use clips to help set the shape while styling.
Finish Your Look
Repeat until your hair is dry or you've achieved your desired style. Slide the Power/Mode Slider Switch to the lowest (OFF) position, unplug the brush, and allow it to cool completely before storing.
PRO STYLING TIPS
Start Low, Style Smart
For first-time use in Dry Hair Heated Mode, start at the lowest temperature (320°F/160°C) and adjust as needed for your hair type.
Small Sections, Better Results
Work with 1–1.5-inch sections for smoother, more even styling.
Choose the Right Mode
Use Wet Hair Drying Mode for damp hair and Dry Hair Heated Mode only when your hair is completely dry.
